Q: How do I install flash for the first time?
A: Flash is very prominent on HarryJarry if you want to make the best of the portals, so make sure that you visit the official Adobe flash page for the latest version of flash: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Q: I've installed flash but it isn't working on my browser?
A: Depending on your browser will depend on the state of your flash player. Make sure before downloading that you don't download the wrong flash for your browser. Internet Explorer users can use the link in the previous answer, but if you're using a browser such as Chrome, Opera, Firefox or Safari then fill in the necessary information in this link for your download: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
Q: I've ran into a bug around the site, where should I report it?
A: If you've ran into a bug or problem on the website you should immediately report it to an Administrator. You can find the list of website staff here: #staff_administrators
Q: What is the easiest way to navigate around the website?
A: We have tried to make the navigation much easier to get the hang of this time around and the best and easiest way to navigate the website is through the navigation links at the top of every page. We have also added both header and footer links to make it easier for you. It doesn't matter whether you are at the top of a page or bottom, there will be a way to navigate away from the page!
Q: How do I send a private message to someone?
A: There are currently two ways to send a private message to someone. The first way is going to their profile and hitting the link "Send a private message!" - the second way is to go directly into your private message inbox and composing a new mail to someone.
Q: What images can I upload to my account, and where?
A: There are two account images you can have at the moment, the first is your profile avatar which can be changed via the "Edit Profile" option. The second is your forum signature which can be found in the same place.
Q: Are there any size limits to my pictures?
A: Yes. Profile avatar size limits are 150x150 pixels width and height where as signatures are 572x55.
Q: Where can I edit my profile?
A: You can edit your profile wherever you are on the website, the "Edit Profile" link will always be available to you in the banner where you are logged in. You can also edit your profile from a link within your profile.
Q: What can I edit on my profile?
A: Anything in the user information and contact information section is displayed on your profile for everyone to see. Favorites, birthday, location, age, gender, MSN, Facebook and lots more are now available to edit!
Q: What are awards?
A: Awards are an extra thanks from us to you for using the website. You can gain awards from everything around the site!
Q: What are the current ways of gaining awards?
A: You can gain awards from posting on the forum, depositing your experience, gaining voting power, submitting flash, audio and art to the portals, commenting on other users submissions to the portals, various activities set by admins on the forum and awards given to your submissions on the portal!
Q: Is there a list of awards I can view, and how many are there?
A: We currently have 27 awards available to earn, underneath is the amount of each award type you can earn:

Q: How do I gain my levels on HarryJarry?
A: There is currently only one way to earn levels on HJ, and that is by using the deposit link next to your edit profile link next to the banner at the top of the website.
Q: How many levels are there?
A: There are currently 30 levels all designed by Simon which are listed below.
Q: What are experience points?
A: Experience points are what you deposit each day, only 10 experience can be deposited every day and gets reset every night at 12AM.
Q: What is voting power?
A: Voting power is earned from gaining experience and levelling up. It counts towards your votes in each portal around the website.
Q: What is the highest voting power I can earn?
A: 15.
Q: Why do some people have blue, red and pink auras?
A: They indicate staff or special users of the website.
Q: Can I have a custom aura?
A: No.
Q: What are the current status' on the website?
A: For now; Administrator, Moderator, Member and Memorial.
Q: What is memorial?
A: Memorial is for users who deserve to be remembered for what they did for HarryJarry and have left us for whatever reason.
Q: What is my sign-up date?
A: Your sign-up date is the day you registered an account on the website.
Q: How do I vote on a submission?
A: Use the indicated voting panel on the left hand side of the submission. You can vote any flash from 0 to 5 depending on the quality of the content.
Q: How many times can I vote per day?
A: You can vote once a day per entry to the portals.
Q: How do I comment/review a submission?
A: Click the "Leave this submission a comment" link under the description.
Q: What do I have to say on the entry?
A: You must leave a rating 1-10 for each of the catagories "Content, Quality, Replayability and Overall" - then you must leave a short to long description on your own feelings towards the submission.
Please note: Just because there may not be a rule or two here doesn't mean that others aren't in effect, use common sense. Failure to comply with the portal rules will result in your account and all submissions being deleted.
Q: How do I submit a flash to the portal?
A: Click "Submit Flash" on the left column in the flash portal and enter all of the fields in the next page.
Q: Are there any limits to submitting flash?
A: The maximum size for a flash movie is 800x800 pixels width and height and has to be SWF and for icons it is 46x46 and has to be PNG, JPG or GIF. Your file must also only be up to 2MB in size, no more.
Q: How do I submit audio to the portal?
A: Click "Submit Audio" on the left column in the audio portal and enter all of the fields in the next page.
Q: Are there any limits to submitting audio?
A: Your audio file must be in MP3 format and must only be up to 10MB in size, no more.
Q: How do I submit art to the portal?
A: Click "Submit Artwork" on the left column in the artwork portal and enter all of the fields in the next page.
Q: Are there any limits to submitting art?
A: The maximum size for your art is 800x800 pixels width and height and has to be PNG, JPG or GIF. Your file must also only be up to 2MB in size, no more.
In general, just don't be a total prick. No one wants to have to deal with it. You can post as much as you want, but you can cross the line into spam when your posts aren't relevant to the topic at all. Such as blank posts/things like "dshfskjadhfasksdfhjksdfs."
You will be accepted as long as you are a good person, which we're sure you are!

Q: Can I post on the forum without an account?
A: No. Guests cannot post on the forum.
Q: Can I post my own topics and posts on the forum?
A: You can only post new topics in the "All Access" forums but you can post in both All Access and Reply Only.
Q: How do I navigate the forum?
A: The forum is split into three sections: All Access, Reply Only and Special Access. In All Access anyone can reply and view all aspects of the forums while posting your own topics, in reply only you can only view and reply to the staffs topics, in special access only staff and moderators may post and view there.
Q: How can I change my forum signature?
A: Your forum signature can be changed via the edit profile panel.
Q: Are there any limits to them?
A: You may only have 300 characters and 3 lines of text in your signature and one image which is 572x55.
Q: What are super duper admins?
A: Super duper admins are the tip-top rulers of HarryJarry! They are a select few and can be found by their hot pink usernames on the forum!

Q: Can I be a moderator?
A: Of course you can! Anyone has a chance to be a moderator but don't bomb our PM boxes asking to be one, that will lower your chances. If we see you as a great user, we will contact you in regards to moderating.

- Only submit your works, if you didn't make it, don't submit it!
- Do not submit porn, hentai or any kind of adult content. Keep it safe for work.
- No malicious files; this include pop-ups, or any harmful files.
- If your flash is submitted for the purpose of just advertising it will be deleted.
- Do not include any racist, hateful or hurtful things in your flash. Humour has its limits.

- Keep your cool, nobody likes a hothead. If you really wish to flame someone, use the private message system.
- Don't post any pictures involving pornography of any kind. We also do not care for any grotesque pictures, nor do we wish to host them.
- Do not post links to any sites that are shock sites, fraud sites or anything malicious.
- Please post your threads in the correct forums, they were made seperate for a reason. The moderators don't want to see hundreds of video game topics in the general forum!
